The Van Every Athletic Facility opened in 1995 as a premier indoor sport facility for VES. There is bleacher seating for approximately 500 spectators. The building houses a main basketball court as well as several practice courts. There is an indoor baseball batting cage as well as equipment for other sporting activities including wrestling, lacrosse, and track and field. The structure originally also included a 100 meter indoor running track.
In 2014, a new master plan concept called for consolidation of the athletic and training departments within the Van Every facility. Since VES no longer used the 100 meter indoor running track or jumping events, VES desired to assume these spaces to be re-purposed. The finished renovation included the addition of an athletic department suite of offices with conference room, training and conditioning area, weight-lifting, cardio/Nautilus, large toilet rooms with changing areas, and support spaces. Above is a large, open mezzanine for use with the batting cage and straight-lane track as well as additional exercise spaces.
