Foster Fuels Headquarters

Brookneal, Virginia

Blair Construction teamed with Architectural Partners to develop a building design for Foster Fuel’s Headquarters. The owner specifically wanted the 17,000 sq. ft. structure to have a rural feel in keeping with its Campbell County, Virginia location and heritage.

Continuing a long standing partnership on various projects, Blair Construction and AP teamed together to provide Foster Fuels an efficient and attractive new headquarters building. The basic plan was developed by Blair; and, AP provided the code research and life safety drawings required for a building permit. AP was charged by the owner with creating an exterior look for the pre-engineered structure that would fit in with the rural character of the site and down-play the utilitarian nature of the large vehicle repair shop.

In addition, AP worked on all interior finishes in coordination with Harris Office Furniture. Selections were made and presented to the owner for review and comment. Upon approval AP developed a comprehensive document that specified all selections for building finishes and furnishings, locations of each finish color selection, layout and specification of all furniture, and a color board of all finish materials.
