The Willis Building was build nearly 100 years ago and was the heart of St. Paul. Filled with businesses and small apartments, it was a place where school teachers first boarded, where you could get some decent tools and hardware, and where the community came together. As a way to recapture the original purpose of the building and fill the business bays and empty apartments, the idea for the Western Front Hotel was born.
The hotel honors the rich history of the town and takes its name from the segment of town near the railroad tracks that was infamously known as the Western Front. This chic boutique hotel features 30 rooms, a gift shop, two outdoor dining terraces, the Roost (an entertainment space for guests), the Backyard, and Milton’s restaurant.
